The Super Pickle: A HilariousPickleball Parody Musical
Over the summer, Darby will be gearing up to play Sage, the 80 year old with a passion for saving her Assisted Living Center by means of Pickleball. The Super Pickle is a Pickleball Parody Musical produced by Entertainment Events. Through this company Darby has also performed in Sex n' the City: A Super Unauthorized Musical Parody as Samantha and T'was a Girl's Night Before Christmas as Kate. This show will be traveling all over the country and Darby can't wait to get stared!
Blackout Songs
This past winter, Darby served in the role of Wardrobe Supervisor under Avery Reed for Normal People's production of Blackout Songs written by Joe White and directed by Rory Mcgregor, performed in Robert W. Wilson space at MCC Theater. Blackout Songs starred Abbey Lee and Owen Teague and had a successful off-Broadway run.
Sex n' the City: A Very Unauthorized Musical Parody
In February of 2025, Darby went on tour as Samantha in a parody musical about "Sex n' the City". What a wild ride! Directed by Amy Jones, this production performed in beautiful theaters all across the United States. This marked Darby's second show with Entertainment Events.
Pride and Prejudice
Over the spring Darby had the great fortune to bring the character of Elizabeth Bennet to life. At Cumberland Theatre in Maryland, Kim Crowley brough Kate Hamill's hilarious reinvisioning to life. This was her first production at Cumberland and has become her favorite show to date!
Wohlfahrt Haus Dinner Theatre
Over the course of 6 months in 2025, Darby worked on 4 different productions at Wohlfahrt! The season started off with The Music Man (Darby's 2nd go of this show) as Alma Hix and the Marion Understudy. Getting to go on as Marion was one of the highlights of her summer. Second she was a part of an ensemble 50's/60's review show. She is now a professional "Pony-er". Next they did She Loves Me which she was the Amalia Understudy for as well as being in the Ensemble. A bucket list show for sure! Lastly, she portrayed Magenta in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
My Favorite Show!
Back in 2014, just before I moved to NYC, I got to do a production of Violet. Right before it had it's revival on Broadway, we put up a small production at Arena Dinner Theater in Indiana. I had the opportunity to play Violet, my sister played Young Violet, and our father played our dad. Quite the family affair. Our mother was even on costumes for the show. I had the most amazing time and learn how much I truely love being on the stage.
